Every table has its own knots and grain patterns — that natural variation is part of what makes solid wood furniture feel alive and genuinely handmade. Seasonal movement is normal, and natural characteristics can include small cracks, splits, waves, gaps or ridges between boards. I only use sustainable wood from positively regenerating forests — for every tree felled, two are planted.
