Can I get a table set a custom size for my room?

Artemis London offers a fully bespoke service on all designs. Everything on the website can be modified to suit your needs so you get the perfect fit every time.

Can I choose the colour of the wood and the legs?

There is full flexibility with your order, we can design something together or you can say what you would like. Wood tones range from blonde to dark and the legs come in a variety of colours and metal finishes.

Will my furniture look the same as on the website?

Yes, for the most part. Just like fingerprints, each piece of wood is different. The finish of the pieces is always improving to give you a luxury finish.

What is raw wood, luxury industrial furniture from Artemis London like?

We use kiln-dried Scandinavian Pine that has been slowly grown for over 60 years, this reduces splitting and twisting and gives the wood extra stability. The finish on the furniture has a luxury touch which marries against the industrial feel of raw wood and statement steel legs.

At Artemis we aim to retain as many characteristics in our wood as is creatively possible, as a result, some of our tables can have industrial marks, dents, blemishes, cracks and splits. The wood is new so has a lovely clean finish with each plank carrying its own story.

Our plant-based finish will protect the wood from abrasions, dirt and water.

As the seasons change and the air humidity changes with it, wood can adapt its moisture content, this is commonly referred to as wood movement. This happens all year round as well as day to day.

A drawer that was perfectly flush on Monday may seem stuck on Tuesday, similarly, wooden doors will seem difficult to open in winter and easier in summer.

This continuous reaction and movement may cause light cracks or slight bows but it will not change the function of the furniture and will not hinder its use. It will simply be a live, moving object that reacts to its environment continuously and follows its own journey through life, and at Artemis, we feel this adds a natural emphasis to the furniture and a soulful element to the wood, it is live and it reacts.
