This design has a more traditional farmhouse feel than my cleaner modern pieces, but it still keeps a restrained, solid look. The turned legs and drawers give it warmth and character, while the extension leaves make it far more practical for real homes. Closed, it works as an everyday kitchen or dining table. Extended, it gives you extra room for guests without needing a permanently oversized table.

The drawers also make it more useful day to day, whether that is placemats, cutlery, napkins, children’s bits, or the things that usually end up left on the table.

Solid wood has real grain, knots and movement, which is part of what gives these pieces their depth and character. No two tables will ever be identical. Natural features can include knots, grain variation, subtle cracks, slight undulation and tonal shifts across the boards.

Because this is a solid wood handmade piece, seasonal movement is normal. That is part of the nature of real timber and not a defect.
