The monitor stand is designed to create a more practical working setup while keeping the desk visually clean.
As standard, the stand runs the full length of the desk and is around half the depth of the desktop. This gives enough space for a monitor, laptop, speakers, books or smaller accessories, while leaving the main desk surface open underneath.
The monitor stand can also be adjusted to suit the setup. A deeper stand can work well for larger monitors or dual-screen use, while a shorter or more minimal stand can be made for smaller workspaces.

The best desk size depends on the space available and how much equipment will sit on the desk.
For a simple laptop or writing setup, a smaller desk can work well. For a monitor, keyboard and everyday office use, a medium-width desk gives a more comfortable layout. For dual monitors, speakers, drawing equipment or a larger home office setup, a wider desk is usually the better choice.
As a general guide:
100–120cm wide — compact workspace or laptop desk
130–160cm wide — comfortable everyday desk size
170–200cm wide — larger home office or single monitor setup with more room
200cm+ wide — ideal for dual monitors, gaming, studio use or a larger statement deskDepth is also important. A deeper desk gives more room between the user and the monitor, while a shallower desk works better in tighter rooms.

The wood is finished with hardwax oil, giving the surface a smooth feel while helping protect it against everyday use. The finish brings out the grain rather than hiding it, so the desk still feels warm and natural.

The desk is finished with hardwax oil and should be looked after like a real wood surface. Use coasters or mats where needed, avoid leaving standing water on the wood, and clean with suitable wood-safe products rather than harsh household cleaners.
For long-term care, the surface can be refreshed with the recommended care products. This helps maintain the finish and keeps the wood protected through everyday use.
